ATLAS & ASHES
A New York original—resurrected and reborn in silver and flame.
Originally crafted for Tiffany & Co. New York, circa 1885, this antique pocket watch has been reimagined by Dark Triumph into an object of sculptural reverence and quiet defiance.
The coin silver case remains untouched—save for one deliberate act: a sterling silver and 18K gold skull, hand-sculpted and affixed to the front, emerging like a long-buried memory. At its heart, the original porcelain dial—signed Tiffany & Co. New York—remains intact beneath its crystal, softened by a faint hairline crack earned through time.
Beneath the surface, a Swiss lever-set movement (No. 629487) has been fully serviced and functions reliably—keeping time in the manner expected of a century-old mechanical piece. As with most 19th-century watches, the setting mechanism requires a discreet pull-tab to engage the crown.
Anchored to a bold, graduated sterling silver chain, the piece can be worn two ways:
• The included T-bar with 18K gold skulls and diamond eyes slips through a vest buttonhole for classic styling.
• The detachable 18K gold dagger belt-loop clasp secures the chain to jeans, trousers, or jackets—bringing modern edge to a centuries-old form.
A double-sided gothic fob completes the transformation:
• Front: A sacred heart encircled by 18K gold thorns and crowned in flame.
• Reverse: A solitary gold dagger resting above the Dark Triumph insignia.
Framed in a halo of black diamonds—ornamented, yet restrained.
Its name draws from dual truths:
Atlas, the eternal bearer of time and weight.
Ashes—not of ruin, but rebirth.
Time marches on. Meaning endures.
