Built around a circa 1997 Rolex Submariner 14060, Velvet Thorn transforms the iconic 40 mm black-and-steel dive watch with an entirely bespoke Dark Triumph bracelet handcrafted in sterling silver, substantial 18K yellow gold and diamonds.
Sculpted skulls form the bracelet shoulders, their black-diamond eyes and individually defined 18K gold teeth emerging from hand-textured and oxidized fields. Below them, raised sculptural quatrefoils inspired by the Gothic tracery of Venice’s Doge’s Palace transition the watch into substantial interlocking sterling-silver links. Integrated dagger forms alternate with flush-set black diamonds around the bracelet.
The clasp brings the story to its most intimate detail: a darkened sculpted heart pierced by a dagger and entwined with an 18K gold thorn vine. The dagger carries its own sculpted skull with black-diamond eyes, while flush-set white diamonds run down the blade.
Throughout the piece, high-polish silver rises against hand-textured and selectively oxidized surfaces, allowing the sculpture, gold and diamonds to emerge from the darkness.

Warranty & Care:
- Every Dark Triumph timepiece includes a limited 7-day technical warranty on the internal movement.
- Warranty applies to movement function only. It does not cover crystals, straps, cosmetic wear, misuse, water or impact damage.
- Unless explicitly stated, our watches are not water- or shock-resistant.
- Shipping to Dark Triumph is the client's responsibility.
- Return shipping (U.S. only) is covered by Dark Triumph
